For travel and fitness - Lululemon shorts and pants are great.
But... they are made of plastic.
https://twitter.com/bricin/status/1146457150513770497?s=19 I appreciate they are willing to discuss new natural fabrics.
Having a hard time getting back on #fitness track. Both Achilles tendons are sore and griping.
The one thing I *can* control is my diet. So that's the goal today - no grain. 120 oz of water.
Apparently my karma is causing glitches in restaurants. Stopped by Sun Mountain Brewery for a burger. Bloody Mary was great. Then no food. 30+ minutes (I was doing a crossword puzzle and didn't notice).
Ticket got lost. They apologized and comped the food when it came out so no harm, no foul.
I'm on a tear! Yesterday I saw Jersey Mike's is gone too.
Second time for breakfast at Whole Sōl on the mall. Want to support a new restaurant but... The breakfast bowl isn't very good. Not sure why I thought hemp noodles were a good idea (and it was cabbage this morning in any case). But takes forever. Bland.
Just waiting for Ruthie's to open so I can top it off with a breakfast burrito.
Dinner at River and Woods in #boulder tonight. Staff was clearly not on their game. Burger was... a step up from McDonald's. The missus ordered the salad + trout, got a salad. No forks and knives. Eggs were chewy. Honestly it felt like a place that could be good but had a seriously off night.
The trout, when it finally arrived, was really nice by the way.
I need to get in gear and head to Alfalfa's more for lunch. Crazy how much time I spend at other "quick" options in #boulder.
Bramble and Hare. Younger cousin of Black Cat.
Farm to table restaurant in #boulder. Menu changes almost daily.
Seems like Lyft is getting less reliable. System glitches have stranded me twice now. Customer support isn't responding. Growing pains for sure. #travel
Still surprises me airlines can oversell a flight. With all the systems in place... how does it happen ?
"...dogs’ faces are structured for complex expression in a way that wolves’ aren’t, thanks to a special pair of muscles framing their eyes. these muscles are responsible for that “adopt me” look that dogs can pull by raising their inner eyebrows. it’s the first biological evidence scientists have found that domesticated dogs might have evolved a specialized ability used expressly to communicate better with humans."
Mateo in #boulder... Kills with the poulet frite. Best sear. Great flavor.
This is why they shouldn't let people off the plane - we are now stuck waiting for three people who wandered off (ooh... I just have to have that soy latte with stevia...)
This is why we can't have nice things.
#travel is such a joy sometimes.
